If you are a guest, your host must be present.
  • No firearms are allowed in the park.
  • No destruction or altering of property (trees, benches, etc.) is allowed.
  • Only ONE sanctioned rope swing, on the north side of the river at the swing platform is allowed.
Park insurance does not cover other swings, and users of such do so at their own risk.
  • Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.

OTHER PARK ITEMS

A motion was made and passed as follows:  "The board will not enter any legal agreements, without consulting the members, at the annual meeting, or by certified letter."

The budget was reviewed and approved.  The total budgeted for 2007 is $14,137.00.  This includes a $5000.00 buffer, or reserve. Anyone who did not attend the meeting, and would like to view the itemized expenses, please contact our Secretary/Treasurer, Loretta Robinson.

Please keep your dog on a leash at all times.  And remember to bring a plastic bag or two (if needed) and clean up after your pet.   With the increased usage of the park, this will help us keep the area more pleasant for everyone.

Litter!  This is an increasing problem.  Please take all your trash out with you, and any other trash or flood debris you notice. Thank you for helping keep our park beautiful!

Unauthorized use of our park is becoming an increasing problem.  There has also been recent vandalism/theft of the park gate lock and chain, which had to be replaced.  Please find enclosed a handout, which you may use to place on vehicles parked in or along the park, that are not displaying a park sticker. It is more effective when we all participate in protecting and preserving the quality of our park.

Special thanks to park association members who donated extra funds for park improvements.
